Mary Day Long is an Austin, TX-based photographer, writer, and editor.

Born on an Air Force base in Idaho, Mary grew up in East Texas and studied painting at the University of Texas at Austin, before succumbing to wanderlust. After living in Europe and the San Francisco Bay Area, she returned to her home state to focus on photography and writing. Her current projects include underwater portraiture, infrared shots of the Central Texas area,  and a book on the Buddhist temples and stupas at Bagan, Myanmar.
