I studied Art at the University of Texas Austin, then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for a good while, where I painted and exhibited my work. On the side, I began to study photography, which eventually crept in as the full-blown obsession it has become.
Family matters drew me back to Austin, which is now my home base, and will remain so for the foreseeable future. It's smack in the middle of the country, a good launching pad for the travel I have done--and intend to do.

My current obsession lies with Monochrome Infrared landscape and street photography; I have several ongoing bodies of work in that area.
